We brought in these grills on the strong recommendation of a friend. He has not bought a grill from me yet,
but he has managed to get in on quite a few meals cooked on a new TRAEGER PELLET GRILL.

I like roast pork and have learned to cook on both charcoal and gas. The problem has always been that
once you start cooking, you have to stay with it. You have to watch it every minute because if you turn your
back its going to catch fire and be ruined.

TRAEGER GRILLS ARE DIFFERENT
First you are cooking with convection using the burning of wood pellets for heat. The burning of the pellets
flavors the smoke according to the wood type, apple, mesquite, hickory whatever you choose. The heat is
dispersed by heavy metal sheets and the drippings are drained off into a pail. So with the grease being
removed and no direct flame in contact with your food there is less chance of a flare up. The grill uses 110
volt power to ignite the pellets and to power an auger to feed the pellets. It also has a blower to feed the fire.
Fill the hopper with pellets, turn on the grill, put your food on, set the temperature and go about making the
rest of your meal. You will still watch it because that is how you cook, but you will find that you don't have to
be with it every minute.
